Hand made wall hanging sculpture, featuring a genuine WW1 relic German soldiers "Butcher blade" bayonet.
The bayonet (dated 1917) was recovered from one of the Ypres salient battlefields, the thick rust has been removed, the metal has been treated with rust blocking oil then sealed with wax.
 
The Flower stem and leaves are made from stainless steel, the flower head and thorns are bronze, all cut and shaped by hand.
 
The frame is hand made from aluminium, it's been acid etched, blackened and sealed with wax.
